Arrhythmia Alliance E-Bulletin

“Promoting better understanding, diagnosis, treatment and quality of life for individuals with cardiac arrhythmia”

March 2007

Registered Charity No. 1107496

Arrhythmia Alliance is achieving its aims and objectives but we need your help to continue.

To keep on moving forward, increasing awareness and benefiting the lives of sufferers, their carers, families, friends and siblings we need everyone’s help. We require funds to continue to grow and to provide services to meet the challenges ahead.

The following provides you with some ideas to help you raise essential funds for AA. There are numerous ways of raising funds, from hosting a coffee morning with friends to having a non-uniform day at school, a denim day at work, or a raffle.

A-A can provide you with everything you need; literature, collection boxes and sponsorship forms. When an event is complete and the funds are received, you will be awarded a certificate of achievement.

Supermarket Collections - these are a very simple and effective way of not just raising much-needed funds but also increasing public awareness. All the high street supermarkets allow individuals to have a stand for 2 hours to hold a collection for their chosen charity. All you have to do is apply to your local store. AA can provide leaflets and collection boxes for your stands. Keep us updated if you apply, and especially if you get accepted for a slot.

A good way to raise money is to run a Marathon - If you feel fit and healthy, why not?
